Anice - medicine and digestif

Anice - the very special digestif

The dry Anice 47
With the green anise from Castignano
In the gentle hills of Castignano, the sunny location of the area, the climate with light breezes and the skillful work of experienced hands have created the ideal place for the organic cultivation of this type of anise.
Thanks to its high proportion of anethole, the green anise is rich in flavor and full of natural flavors, which distinguishes it from other types of anise. The hot refinishing by the distillation flask intensifies all the flavors that are mixed together using an old and secret recipe.
In the Anice 47, wild fennel from our own cultivation and apples are used to improve the taste. No sugar is added to the sweetener, only honey during the pretreatment.
Our Anice 47 can be served in many ways, unique and different every time.
Ice and soda together with our anise make a fresh, light and refreshing aperitif.
On the other hand, an encounter with coffee creates the traditional “ammazzacaffè marchigiano” (translation: the Marchigian “coffee killer”).
If you prefer it pure, so that the Anice 47 releases the stronger digestive and antiseptic properties that have been known as typical for anise since ancient times, drink it pure.
And when the Anice 47 meets eggs, sugar and flour, it lends that certain something for a thousand sweet preparations that need a fragrant and slightly alcoholic taste.
