Le Caniette – A winery with (own) style
In the southern part of the Marche, where the excellent Rosso Piceno as well as the Passerina and Pecorino grapes (for white wine) are at home, there are many wineries that have been making wine with love for generations. Le Caniette near Ripatransone is a very special winery in every respect. The owners, Giovanni and Luigi Vagnoni, have created something that takes admiration.
His wines have their own style, are absolutely organic and, in addition to the common grape varieties such as Montepulciano and Sangiovese, are also based on the indigenous, ancient vines Passerina and Pecorino. With these excellent wines, we are not talking about prices that go beyond the wallet, but rather adapted to the different “versions”. Every wine connoisseur knows that a wine that has been maturing for many years has a different price genre than a wine that can be drunk young.
