The stronghold for this lies in the so-called Fermano, the area around Fermo. Not a single large shoe industry is located there, rather it is the sum of the many small but fine shoe manufacturers that accounts for this high percentage. The Rolls Royce among them is surely Tod's. These producers are mainly located in Montegranaro and Cassette d'ete. Of course, also all who are suppliers.
