B&B - the good feeling

Feel free - B&B and apartments

Dimora Collemare

Dimora Collemare – all beauty in just one turn around
There are more and more holiday apartments in different designs and qualities.
A house with 8 apartments on one of the gentle hills behind Cupra Marittima, which takes guests to another world, belongs in a category that can be described very easily: 100% top!

For 11 years Maurizio has worked with his family, the owners, to transform what was originally a casa colonica (that is, a manor house with various stables built in 1901) into a wonderful building with mostly original bricks. In order to meet the requirements in the Marche, which state that a house can only be restored to the same dimensions as the original, Maurizio included the stables. This created a wonderful connection between traditional construction and the valued building material, the bricks and a highly modern interior design.
Surprise for drivers: the entire house has a basement and offers underground parking for 9 cars! An elevator provides added convenience, so no one has to lug a suitcase up the stairs.

The house is surrounded by a spacious, beautifully landscaped garden with a pool, which is a little further from the house. The thought behind it: Children usually love to romp around loudly in the water. At a distance you can still take a nap and the kids can have fun. Sun loungers and a gazebo are at guests' disposal.

The 8 apartments, each of which bears the name of a Roman deity, are distributed over 2 floors, the ground floor and the 1st floor. The 2 large apartments have two double bedrooms, 2 apartments have a double bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed. In addition, there is the option of using the sofa bed in the living room in the other 4 apartments with a double bedroom. “Large” really means a very spacious apartment, measuring more than 70 m2!
On the first floor, an apartment is particularly equipped, since it offers a perfect small swimming pool on the terrace that belongs to it. The pool is equipped with an internal lighting, in which the colors are adjustable, the water temperature can be adjusted too. There is also a hydromassage with 42 jets, whereby the pressure can be regulated individually. Although it is the smallest apartment as it has only one bedroom, it is just right for honeymooners and lovers.
The kitchen is equipped with everything everywhere. From the dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator to a stove with a ceramic hob to dishes and glasses.
What probably amazes everyone is the size of the bathrooms. With a window and a lot of freedom of movement - even in the shower! What is usually criticized is not an issue here: storage space can be found in every bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. Needless to say, WiFi is available throughout the house.
Air conditioning and underfloor heating ensure the right temperature in every season.
Each apartment has a terrace or balcony equipped with a wrought iron table and chairs.
There you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view at dinner or simply with a glass of our wonderful wines, a landscape that, through its grace and harmony, gives even the most stressed people what is so rare today: peace and absolute relaxation. From the sea to the Sibillini mountains, in between all the beauty of the rolling hills with their patchwork of olive groves, vineyards, cornfields, sunflower fields or groves, no matter where you look it seems like a postcard from a bygone era. Buzzards, seagulls, falcons, starlings, swallows and here and there the star of the bird world, the brightly feathered bee-eater, circle in the sky. In the garden butterflies flutter from flower to flower, brimstone butterflies, admiral butterflies, blue moths, swallowtails and so many others. The bees and bumblebees are buzzing from bush to bush and the world just seems peaceful.
Besides the floral splendor with a variety of fragrant blossoms, guests can enjoy something else, fresh herbs and tomatoes. Maurizio has grown this for his guests and they can help themselves here. There is also no shortage of fresh endive from September to April, as he owns a very large endive plantation!
Guests do not necessarily have to cook in their own apartments, as there is also a very large "summer kitchen" that can be used by all guests in the house.

Those who don't want to cook themselves will find plenty of opportunities in Cupra Marittima and the neighbouring towns to let themselves be spoiled according to traditional recipes in various restaurants. Fish is of course very important! If you look over the sea at night, you can see the many fishing boats as small points of light, which then bring their catch ashore to sell in the very early morning.
I seldom have seen a house furnished with so many of the best materials and Maurizio never tires of improving!

If you want more than just relaxing, there are no limits. The Piceno, the name for the southern part of the Marche, is ideal terrain for excursions of all kinds. Down to the sea with its sandy beaches is only a few kilometres away, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, the Monti Sibillini with their wonderful hiking trails, Offida, San Benedetto del Tronto, to name just a few places, are also less than an hour's drive away to reach. If you want to be active right outside the front door, you can go on a hike through the hilly landscape and the hotel's own forest or rent a bike - depending on your taste, racing bike or mountain bike.
Wine lovers will not miss the opportunity to visit one or more of the wineries, for tastings - and there are quite a few! The olive oil of the Marche is no less interesting, as is the pasta from Campofilone, the salamis and ham, and, and, and... there are so many delicacies that make the Marche paradise a gourmet paradise!
Those who spend their holidays here will get an idea of what is meant by "Seventh Heaven".

The Belvedere

Apartments Belvedere - the balcony over the sea

In Cupra Marittima, up above the sea, in the ancient part called Marano, two apartments were created in one of the centuries-old houses that have nothing in common with the usual holiday apartments by the sea.
The house itself exudes the solidity that can only be found in old walls - no concrete, but bricks, no lightweight construction, but a solid architectural style that keeps the warmth in the house in winter but leaves the heat outside in summer. As soon as you enter the house, you will notice the massive green apartment doors, a nice splash of colour in the well-tended stairwell.

Appartamento piccolo
The apartment on the ground floor is very suitable for a couple or a small family. Due to the size with a total of 65 m2 there is enough space for everyone. Living, dining and cooking areas are not separated from each other, but rather form the area where you can communicate with each other even while cooking. The couch in the living area can be folded out into a really comfortable bed. Even a desk and enough storage space will please the guest.
The apartment is complemented by a bedroom and a spacious bathroom.
The furniture is modern and functional, whereby the kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, because from the dishwasher to the washing machine, laundry such as sheets and towels and everything you need for cooking can be found here.
The nowadays urgent question about Wi-Fi can easily be answered with a yes.
Unfortunately, the apartment has only one disadvantage, it has no outdoor area. Due to the proximity to the sea, which is just a 10-minute walk away, and the small piazzetta with a wonderful view right next to the house, this disadvantage is easily compensated for.
The owner Antonella has also found a very good solution for arrival and departure. By arrangement, you can freely choose the day of the week without having to accept the traffic jams on Saturdays.

Appartamento grande
In the same building there is an apartment with 105 m2 on the first floor, which will be a delight at first glance. As in the small apartment, the living, dining and cooking areas are one unit. The equipment is also modern and has everything the guest needs to be able to cater for themselves. From the washing machine to clothes horse, table with chairs for the balcony, laundry such as sheets and towels, everything has been thought of. The dishes were chosen with love and couldn't be better found in a 4 * hotel. Here you find everything what you need and many details make this apartment comfortable, so that the guest can feel at home. The living area also has a bathroom with shower and a small cloakroom.

Many details make this apartment comfortable, so that the guest can feel at home. The living area also has a bathroom with shower and a small cloakroom.
The absolute highlight, however, is the 14 m2 balcony high above the city and the sea. It offers enough space to comfortably take your meals or to enjoy the view over the sea with the fishing boats in the evening.
Another highlight is the division over two floors. A massive wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area with two bedrooms and another bath room. In contrast to the living area with tiled floor, parquet has been used here. Together with the wooden beams that support the beautifully restored roof beams, this gives the rooms a cosy warmth. The view out of the window, even if you are just relaxing on the bed, is enchanting and lets the day begin well with the rising morning sun.
If you want to spend enjoyable and quiet days on vacation, without permanent background noise, you are in good hands here.

Those who do not want to use the perfect kitchen equipment, but prefer to eat in the restaurant, have various options in the immediate vicinity without having to use the car. You can even do your shopping on foot and use the beach as well. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of the "new" Cupra Marittima.
Marano not only stands for a world of its own, where time has somehow stopped and offers us that which is difficult to find: peace and quiet. Marano is also representative of many Marchigian places - jewels that have retained their greatest values, the culture, their historical centres and nature, which in its harmony appears like a dream of a more beautiful world. From here, guests can explore wonderful places such as Fermo, Ascoli Piceno, Offida, and many more within a very short distance. or discover the endless beauty of the Monti Sibillini. Wineries and oil mills, shoe manufacturers and hat makers, markets and so-called “sagre”, the world of Piceno (name for the southern part of the Marche) is colorful, diverse and always unique.

Between sky and sea ... ..

If you want to spend a relaxing and exciting holiday among lush nature, history and art, for two or three people, this apartment in Cupra Marittima, in the ancient medieval part of Marano, is the right place.

Nomen est omen, because the name "Sospeso fra cielo e mare" means just that, between sky and sea.
On 55 square meters there is a cool living room with sofa bed, a spacious bedroom, a super equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower overlooking the sea in a three-story house.

Since the beach, shops and everything you need for a great holiday can be reached in just 10 minutes on foot, you are centrally located, but without annoying noises in summer.
If you don't want to worry about cooking yourself, there are two excellent restaurants in the village and in the immediate vicinity.
The kitchen offers everything you need for self catering. A special highlight is the refrigerator, which with its size offers enough storage space so that you don't need to shop every day. The apartment is equipped with excellent quality household linen (sheets, towels, bathrobes, tablecloths).
What makes this apartment unique is its view which, through its windows all overlooking the sea, ranges from the picturesque hilly landscape to the modern town of Cupra Marittima and its splendid beaches.
The whole apartment has been finely furnished with taste and passion, mixing the latest generation appliances with modern and bright furniture alongside restored antiques or modern antiques, nothing to do with the ordinary furnishings that are often found in holiday accommodation.

The whole apartment is characterized by an incredible brightness and the surrounding nature gives the guest a great feeling of comfort. The clever layout of the rooms with few but spacious rooms makes the apartment seem even larger and more airy.

In addition to the proximity to the sea, the historic beauties of the village dotted with ancient palaces, suggestive churches and a museum, there are many essential destinations for those interested in culture and art, such as Fermo, Ascoli Piceno, Offida, Loreto, only to name a few. Who might be surprised, after all, the Marche is one of the oldest settlement areas in Italy. The southern part of the Marche (Italian: Le Marche) owes its nickname of Piceno to the Piceni, the indigenous peoples of the place, where the Romans later arrived. And if you love hiking, a some kilometers away by car, you will find the wonderful Sibillini Mountains a truly enchanting area. A strong and completely uncontaminated nature that offers botanists and hikers an incomparable experience, without forgetting the excellent quality of its food and wine products and its truly delicious traditional cuisine.

Marano - and the time stands still

Cupra Marittima is one of the most attractive seaside resorts in the Marche with an annual “Bandiera Blu” award for the best water quality. Since mass tourism is still a foreign word here, guests can spend their vacation in a pleasant atmosphere.

Those who love to enjoy the most beautiful days of the year independently and in a feel-good atmosphere will find the ideal place in the ancient part of Cupra Marittima, in Cupra Paese Alto. Bougainvillea-covered walls, the scent of jasmine, narrow streets and centuries-old buildings make us forget that we are in the 21st century. The emerald-colored sea with spectacular sunrises and the fishing boats, which can be seen as small points of light for catching on the water at night, convey a feeling of calm in our stressful times.

High above the sea, but only about a 10-minute walk to the long sandy beach and the town center, by car only about 3 minutes, is a house in an absolute panoramic position. The B&B Marano has 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms with shower. The rooms are furnished on two floors with great attention to detail. It has nothing in common with the normally very sober rooms. Rather, you can really feel “at home”. All rooms have tiled floors. The heat of the summer months stays outside, because the walls of this house, which has ancient origins, ensure pleasant temperatures. In cooler months, gas heating ensures comfortable temperatures. The equipment is anything but antique.

In all rooms there is a TV with reception for foreign television programs and a stereo system. If you don't want to be without your PC while on vacation, you can use WiFi.

In the small courtyard or on the terrace with a view of the sea and the city, meals or simply musing hours can be spent excellently. Everything is thought of here too, table, chairs, parasol - all the guest really has to do is unpack his suitcase, everything else can be found on the spot. Of course, this also includes bed linen and towels.

This house is a rare type of accommodation. Mostly well-equipped and “cozy” holiday rooms are only a fairly large distance from the golden sandy beaches. Here the guest is by the sea, but without having to put up with the busy summer months if he doesn't want to. Here in Paese Alto you can relax.

There are many opportunities in Cupra Marittima for shopping, dining out or just for evening walks. The town with about 7000 inhabitants has retained its original charm, it is not touristy like so many other seaside resorts. In the well-kept chalets by the sea you can even find prices that are anything but exaggerated, but well-maintained and well-equipped. Even in the fall and winter months
The place “lives” like the other towns and places in the Marche.

Excursions to the many cultural riches are just as suitable as hikes or bike tours in the Monti Sibillini, the large national park of the Marche, which is approx. 65 km away due to an unspoiled, unspoiled and intact nature, an experience in every season represents.
