Residenze degli Ulivi
Not far from the sea, near Campofilone, the stronghold of the world-famous pasta, there is a special 5,000 m2 accommodation in the middle of the green. Flowers, with oleander bushes and palm trees, the range of Mediterranean plants is extensive and gives the guest the feeling of entering a very own realm, which simply blocks out the hectic pace and problems of daily life. Peace, serenity and at night only the noises of the night birds.
The hillside location between the sea and the high mountains of the Sibillini also lets your gaze wander over the wonderful landscape. Le Marche, that's actually how you can imagine paradise. In a nutshell, it can be said that whoever is a guest here has found a small and nice, cozy accommodation, yet for high demands and to the delight of visitors, open all year round.

The Residenze degli Ulivi does not offer apartments, but 8 rooms, which, depending on your choice of the category, can accommodate 2 to max. 5 people. One of the rooms, however, can definitely be described as a holiday apartment, because it has a kitchenette that is equipped with everything you need as a fully autonomous guest. In addition to the refrigerator, there is even a washing machine!
In all other rooms in the Superior category there is a kettle, which can of course also be supplied in another category on request.
The rooms are lovingly furnished with high quality furniture, private bathroom, TV, air conditioning, both for the summer and for heating for the colder months. The really special feature is that each room has a separate entrance and a piece of garden with seating furniture belonging to the room. Even the naming is quite original: every room owes its name to an ancient Roman matron!

The pool, which is located at the highest point of the property, is available for all guests and is also equipped with everything you need for relaxing days: sun loungers and parasols, seating and tables. Here, too, a special feature that definitely needs to be mentioned: the water is salt water like in the sea!

When it comes to dining, you can save yourself the search for a restaurant, because both a restaurant for the colder season and an outdoor restaurant in the warmer months offer excellent dishes. It is particularly worth mentioning that here, as in almost all Marchigian restaurants, traditional cuisine is served, primarily based on fish, but of course also with delicious meat dishes. The fish comes from the Adriatic Sea, so absolutely freshly caught, directly from the nearby coast.
Of course, it's no different at breakfast. Here, too, most of the cakes and delicious sweets are made in-house, the sausage products, cheese and fruit and vegetables come from nearby, mostly small producers.
It's still the real Italy, unadulterated and natural, with the appreciation of the terrain and its treasures and its unique cuisine, which here is almost completely removed from the terrible international mishmash, unless you visit the typical tourist bars - but even then ... .

The Residenze degli Ulivi has recently started offering trips on a Vespa. So if you want to explore the area in this typical Italian vehicle, you can rent a Vespa for hours or days, with a guide if you wish.

My personal impression: an owner couple, Daniela and Giampiero, who lovingly look after their guests, a wonderful accommodation and beautiful, cozy rooms - perfect for an enjoyable holiday!

-Relax under the mulberry tree

Between the sea and the Sibillini Mountains, not far from the small town of Ortezzano with its countless fruit trees in the southernmost and surely most beautiful province of the Marche, an earlier estate, as it is so typical of the Marche, is a true oasis of relaxation. A glance at the surroundings confirms what so many poets have written about the brands: it is the land of harmony. With the flowers, the large centuries-old mulberry tree in front of the house, where you can sit comfortably in the shade, the seemingly timeless impression of rural life, the guest has certainly made a good choice here.

With the 18 rooms (all with shower / toilet), all of which are excellently equipped with modern comfort but contain the charm and warmth that contribute so much to wellbeing, the guest can actually feel at home.

Indeed, it is also a purely family business and this is also evident. Simone, the owner, cultivates hospitality like only someone who is passionate about this business. He and his family prefer the motto "rather small and always, than once big and never", meaning that the prices are absolutely right and the guest is not poured down to the millimeter, but very generous, to name just one example of many things . Speaking of generous - breakfast here replaces a complete meal. It is an agriturismo where special needs are catered for and that is also very important. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and if there is a special request, it will be fulfilled.

Needless to say that the majority of the products, which are then wonderfully prepared, make eating and drinking a pure pleasure come from our own cultivation and breeding. This has been the case for many generations and hopefully nothing will change. Olive oil, fruits, vegetables, wine, digestif, all from our own organic production. With this kitchen based purely on traditional recipes, the guest will certainly not become leaner, but in any case will feel happy.
But you can easily regain the shape if you use the swimming pool extensively. This is not only limited to the warm months, but thanks to glass cladding and heating in spring and autumn, it is actually possible most of the year.

The routes for both hiking and the sea to swim or for the many cultural highlights are within acceptable limits, in about 30 minutes e.g. to the sea.
Non-motorized guests can use the minibus transfer to get to the train station or airport in Ancona or Pescara (Abruzzo). All in all, vacations here leave nothing to be desired.
