Especially at a time when stress and hectic pace determine the lives of most people, it is important to shift down a gear. What helps here is what is most neglected: nature.
In addition, we offer you a few incomparable days that are otherwise hardly feasible on your own and which bring the magnificence of nature to life.
Learn about the fine art of falconry and diving into subterranean formations on a speleological adventure. You don't have to sacrifice a whole vacation for these very special experiences, you can undertake this 3-day trip after a trip to Marche or other Italian areas, or use a long weekend.
You will be carried away by incomparable feelings when a falcon or even an eagle lands on your fist, you will be amazed by the subterranean world of the caves and perhaps discover that the greatest experiences can be found directly in nature.
Day 1: Buongiorno nelle Marche
You travel to Ancona-Falconara by plane, by train or bus, or ideally by your own car. In Senigallia you will move into your accommodation in a wonderful agriturismo. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will still have the opportunity to explore this little town, which has a history going back thousands of years. The evening menu is served in the agriturismo with Marchigian specialties.
Day 2: The wings of the earth
In the morning you will get to know the falconer Alessandro, who this morning will explain some of the basic elements of falconry to you. This theory is necessary in order to then be equipped to interact with birds of prey first hand. After a small lunch, theory turns into practice. You get to know the wonderful birds of prey, can observe them closely and let them fly together with the falconer in the midst of the green hills of the Marche.
After these first impressing experiences, you have the opportunity to do something on your own again. You will then have dinner at the agriturismo.
Day 3: Grandezza live
This day is entirely dedicated to the world of birds of prey. You can admire these majestic animals up close and further deepen the strong bond between humans and birds of prey. You have the opportunity to expand your theoretical knowledge of this fascinating world; there will also be unforgettable moments when the birds of prey fly straight onto your fist. You do not have to be afraid, the falconers are always by your side to support you in your wonderful experiences and to tell you numerous curiosities about falconry and the world of the carnivores of the sky. The daily routine is interrupted by a light lunch.
Day 4: A trip to the underworld
In the morning it goes to the caves of Frasassi. That may sound pretty unspectacular to some, but it isn't! These caves are among the largest in the world and amaze even cave experts. The largest “hall”, the Sala di Vento, is 183 m high and could easily accommodate the Milan Cathedral. The path that has been developed so far is 1.5 km long. However, our focus is on the areas that are not yet generally accessible. Equipped with an experienced guide and appropriate equipment, you will embark on a speleological tour. As the participants are appropriately equipped like real cave explorers, this day, together with the 2-hour tour through the underworld, is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
You will have a small lunch before the "expedition".
In the late afternoon it goes back to the agriturismo in Senigallia. Another culinary evening menu awaits you there.
Alternative: Instead of the speleological tour, you can take the normal tour of the grandiose caves. This tour takes about 70 minutes and covers 1.5 km.
Day 5: Arrivederci Marche
It is the day of saying goodbye. We hope the experiences you made were enriching for you. Return home safely or add some vacation days.
